Love Never Dies – new short story – freely available now

Well, I got a move on and have managed to finish my editing and submit my story. If anyone is interested in reading it, you can access it at:
https://jennywalkernet.files.wordpress.com/2024/04/love-never-dies-final-version-2024.pdf
Or read the submitted contest (slightly shorter) version at:

If you aren’t familiar with this site, it has a wide variety of different types of fiction with transgender themes. The stories range from short to long, from serious to humour/parody. From deep and emotional to, how do I say? Well, rather risqué and explicit – look at the story tags to guide you. There’s lots of great authors on there.

If you do take time to read this little story (probably 20 minutes max.), then I’d love it if you could leave a comment on the story on Bigcloset. Or come back here a leave a note. Oh, actually, why not just do both? *wink*

  1. That is a nice story. I didn’t begin to get a hint as to the end until just barely before the end, so all things considered it was well told and a plesant new years ending it was. Perhaps I will get to see more stories from this author in the near future.

  2. What at first appears to start out as the possibility of a ghost story eventually becomes reality in this tale of love, a short story that marks the return of the author to publishing. In the final analysis, and without giving any spoiler alerts, the author demonstrates that love triumphs over death.

  3. Hi Jenny, I left comments about your short story, positive ones, as you had requested. Why don’t you make your other works available as Kindle downloads? I’d be interested to listen to them. I just do text to speech exclusively. – Larry

    1. Hi Lawrence Thank you so much for your kind comment – much appreciated. I’m not sure what you mean about Kindle downloads as all my other stories should be available on Amazon as kindle downloads, no? Jen

      1. Hi Jenny, I commented about having your book (s), case in point, “No Half Measures”, become available as a Kindle download. I’m definitely getting old, having read it 13 or so years ago and reviewed it using a pen name! It’s all coming back to me now. Your novel wasn’t showing up on my Amazon page because I already had it in my Kindle library. Having some memory loss as we age has at least one positive. Now, I can reread your book as if for the first time. From my review, it’s clear to me that I loved it!
