New short story ‘Love never dies’ – coming soon!

Well, hello to anyone who might still be out there. Apologies for dropping off the face of the earth for far too long. What’s been happening? Well since 2019 when I was last active here, let me see, what happened after that? Yeah, let’s try to blank out the next few years.

Anyway, I have some news on the writing front. Thank you to all those who get in touch from time to time to enquire after me, and usually to see if I have any new material in the pipeline. Sadly, I’ve generally had to reply in the negative any time I have been asked that.

But, I am happy to say that I have a different answer now. Prompted by a dear long-time friend – one who has graciously given so much of her time to help edit my books before release – I was encouraged to write a short story for a New Year writing competition for a TG fiction website.

A short story? (I hear you ask) Yes, I know, I’ve never written a short story before now! So, don’t worry that I’m about to inflict a ‘War and Peace’ like tome on you again, to consume far too much of your generous time. It is only 5000 words, which roughly equates to around twenty pages of a standard book.

I am in the final editing and proofing stages, so I would hope that within the next week or so, I will be publishing it on the website and, when I do, I will make another post here giving you the link to it, should you wish to read it.
